Easter Preview Service - What to Expect.png

You are invited to our Family Reunion which includes a great church service and festival celebration filled with food, fun, and fellowship!

We are so thankful you have decided to worship with us and celebrate our community at our amazing Harvest Festival! Whether you have been in church most of your life, have never been in church before, or have been in and out of church over the years, we'd love for you to "Come and See." This day will start with a church service at 11:00 AM, which lasts usually around 75 to 90 minutes. The Indoor Harvest Festival will begin immediately following service at 12:30 PM and last until 3:00 PM. Both of these events are open to the community and all are welcome so please invite your family and friends!

We will enjoy a family service at Braswell High School. After service, expect plenty of great music, bounces, games, face painting and balloon animals, free coffee & tea, food and desserts, laser tag, and a photobooth to capture this precious moment in time forever.

If something you hear during the service leads you to make a first-time decision for Christ or caused you to recommit to a decision made a long time ago, we would love to know that and to have the chance to connect with you. We were created to be in community!

Please refer to our frequently asked questions below to help plan your visit.

  • Where will Easter services be held?
Easter services will be held at Braswell High School in the Cafeteria, which we transform into dynamic worship center. There will be plenty of smiling faces and directional signs to guide you to the school and service location. The address of the school is 26750 E University Dr, Aubrey, TX 76227. From Denton: Driving east on US Hwy 380, turn right onto Navo Rd then park in front of the school. From McKinney/Frisco: Driving west on US Hwy 380, turn left onto Navo Rd then park in front of the school.
  • Will Harvest Kids be available?
Harvest Kids will be available during both services. The 9:00 AM service will be for children ages toddler through PreK and the 11:00 AM service will be for children ages toddler through 5th grade. This unique experience includes connection time to meet old and new friends, praise and worship, a Bible story teaching, interactive games, recess, and snacks (if allowed). If your child would prefer to stay with you during service, we provide a family area inside the worship center with soft toys and coloring pages for them to enjoy. A nursing mom's area is also available with a TV that broadcasts the service. More information can be found on our Children's Ministry page.
  • What type of worship music should be expected?
For our Easter experience, the Harvest Mass Choir will be returning from their Christmas Celebration debut leading worship for all those in attendance. They will be singing doctrinally sound worship songs from contemporary gospel and Christian music. All worship is to glorify our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, which is why we encourage everyone in attendance to be immerse in the worship experience and not simply consume. Worship is not about a person or performance but is a posture of reverence to God. This will be an amazing experience you won't want to miss! On the Sundays leading up to and after our Easter experience, expect a range of modern, high energy, Christ-centered, and Spirit-filled worship music! On any given Sunday, you'll hear gospel and contemporary music, as well as hymns, depending upon the occasion.
  • What will the Easter experience be like?
Our Easter experience begins as soon as you pull into the parking lot and are greeted by smiling face at the main entrance doors. Enjoy a cup of coffee, tea, or water and then head into the worship center to begin service with worship music led by our Harvest Mass Choir. During and after worship, expect intentional moments of prayer, communion to be taken as a family in remembrance of Jesus work on the cross, and a time to fellowship with your neighbors seated next to you. Pastor Eric will then deliver a power message to close out our In His Own Words series that's is focused on Jesus' 7 "I Am" statements in the Gospel of John. After the message, we will close out in worship and a time of response for those who are ready to receive Christ for the first time, rededicate their lives to Christ, or receive prayer for other personal requests. We'll close out with a few announcements so you can stay in the know of what's happening at Harvest and Pastor Eric will give a benediction for us all to be sent out on mission with the good news of Jesus Christ. Expect to be with us for about 75 to 90 minutes.
  • Does the church meet every Sunday?
Yes! The church meets every Sunday at 11:00 AM at Braswell High School. The address is 26750 E University Dr, Aubrey, TX 76227. You'll come in through the main entrance on the southeast corner of US Hwy 380 and Navo Rd.
  • Is this church affiliated with a denomination or is it nondenominational?
We follow our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We believe that all should "Come and See" as Jesus instructed many to do. Upon visiting, we believe that you'll be able to identify if Harvest Ministries is a place you feel loved, known, and safe and would like to call home. For more on our theological beliefs, please read our Statement of Faith.
  • How should I dress for Easter services?
We are a "come as you are" kind of church. Whether you prefer Sunday's best ( for those family photo ops 😉) or jeans and sneakers, all are welcome to worship with us.
  • What time does service start?
Our Easter experiences will begin promptly at 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM, so it is highly encouraged to arrive when doors open at 8:30 AM and 10:30 AM, respectively. This will ensure you are able to enjoy some coffee, tea, or water, chat it up with some friends, and check your littles in (if applicable) before finding your seat in the worship center.
  • What Bible translation will the pastor teach from?
Pastor Eric uses the New American Standard Bible (NASB), which is considered a word-for-word translation. However, other translations can and will be utilized as needed.
